“On behalf of staff and students I welcome you to the Department of Mathematical Sciences that was established in the year 1977. Primarily, it was established to train B.Sc Mathematics students and to serve in training students in other programs in the university. Currently, the department has also B.Sc Statistics program as well as many graduate programs including PhD in Mathematics. The Department is among the Departments of the university that are constantly granted ‘Full Accreditation Status’ by the regulatory Authority (National University Commission) for all of its academic programs. Our graduates are academically strong and morally good. They compete with any other graduates in the globe. Every staff of the department is committed to providing qualitative services in a highly disciplined manner and respect.
